I'm trying to publish an app that runs background callbacks, but it doesn't work.

Plotly Cloud does not currently support multi-process apps. However, if you're interested in multi-process apps for enabling background callbacks or other functionality, please vote on this feature in the Plotly Cloud roadmap.
